What life was like for both rich and poor people in Tudor times
How inventories can tell us what life was like for the Tudors
The differences between the lives of the rich and the poor in Tudor times
The application contains 14 interactive thinking tasks that engage students in activities directly mapped to
curriculum objectives. Students will acquire knowledge directly
related to the history objectives while exploring environments such as a Tudor castle
and a Tudor town. Tasks include:
Labelling images which show architectural advances which occurred during the Tudor
period
Making a presentation which describes a specific aspect of the way of life of wealthy
people
Substituting information to produce a passage that describes the differences between
the homes of two different people living in Tudor times
Classifying information on the pastimes of the Tudors, distinguishing between the
types of activities the rich and poor would participate in
Conducting a structured enquiry into what life was like for poor children during
Tudor times
